Clay target shooting

Whether you're a complete novice or a crack shot, our clay target shooting range has a challenge to suit your ability. You can enjoy this adrenaline-filled activity on your own, with a group of friends or as part of a corporate day out.

Guests will be instructed by an experienced guide and all the necessary equipment is provided.

£44 per 25 clays
Suitable for anyone over the age of 16 years.

Rifle target shooting

Get to grips with the latest in recoilless, gas operated target rifles in a session conducted by our experienced guides. Aiming at a range of specially designed targets, this is a great introduction to rifle shooting.

£35 per 45min
Suitable for adults and children over 8 years.

Cassillis and Culzean Estates

Located on the stunning Ayrshire coast, overlooking Arran, Ailsa Craig and the Kintyre, this 10,000 acres estate is a rich blend of lowland farming, mixed woodland and rolling countryside. The aim is quality sporting birds and a full days of companionship, memories to savour and stories to retell. Head Keeper, Tommy Johnstone, has been with the estate man and boy; there is nothing which he does not know about showing quality fast birds. With his jokes and legendary stories, he will guide you through the following spectacular events:

Driven Pheasant Days: a typical day will see 150-200 birds shot throughout 3-4 drives in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, we will enjoy a welcome mid-morning soup (other meals can be arranged upon requirement) and some of Tommy's entertaining craic. Availability left for this season:
For a day of 150 pheasants - 1 gun required for Saturday 26th of November 2011
For a day of 200 pheasants - 1 gun required for Thursday 15th of December 2011
Evening Duck Flighting: on several of the 14 or so ponds and lochs on the estate, upon arrangement and if the weather permits.
