Hole 13 - Perfect Play Explained

This tough par 4 plays back into the prevailing wind from an elevated tee. The fairway bunker on the left hand side is well positioned and your drive must find the right half of the fairway avoiding this. A well placed drive will leave a long second shot of around 200 yards. This two tiered green is guarded by a difficult greenside bunker on the right. An approach shot finding the putting surface will be a good shot and any approach shot finding the correct level of this green will be a fantastic shot that will offer a realistic birdie chance on what is one of the toughest holes on the course. Putting from one tier to another leaves a very tricky putt on this difficult green but par is always a great score on the 13th hole.
