This dog leg par 4 is played from an elevated tee. Commitment is the key with this drive as you get a good view of the trouble this hole has to offer from this raised tee. The tee shot should be aimed to the right of the solitary fairway bunker. The approach shot to this green will be played with a mid iron and it is important to carry the ball onto the putting surface as it is raised at the front. A difficult pot bunker waits short right for any miss hit iron shots. The green itself has several mounds and slopes that generally feed the ball from right to left. Typical of a number of the greens on The Kintyre this 11th green is quite undulating and the best opportunity to hole a putt is from below the hole.
