The remains of the castle of Robert the Bruce-Scotland's king from 1306-1329-can be seen from the 9th green and 10th tees. There are no bunkers on this hole; however, it should not be underestimated. The fairway is raised in the middle and will throw shots to either side. The green has a steep slope off to the left and is also surrounded by mounds and hollows to grab mishit approach shots.
Perfect Play for Hole 8
This spectacular par 4 hole requires an accurate tee shot. With the prevailing wind helping there is no need to always hit a driver on this hole as accuracy is much more important than distance.
