There are few places where food, wine and location come together as beautifully as 1906, the signature restaurant that takes its name from the year Turnberry Hotel opened. Sitting by the picture windows, the views capture the very essence of Scotland. It's a tantalising taste of the culinary journey ahead. Inspired by the land, river and sea all around us, we present classical dishes including the most tender steaks and freshest seafood, all of which are created using the finest local ingredients.

Sustainability:	1906 embraces the surroundings of land, sea and sky. Sustainability for Turnberry is about maintaining the respect of the land, sea and sky around us, without compromising the needs of future generations. Belief in our produce is our main objective when creating our dishes. Focussing on flavour, texture, mouth feel and then presentation is what we strive for when connecting with our guests. This restaurant follows a policy on sourcing fish sustainably. All fish is purse net caught; shellfish is line farmed or crail caught; scallops are hand dived and wild fish is caught locally or caught from certified fisheries.
